The “Cuvée van de Keizer” is brewed every year from the 24th February on, birthday of Charles the Fifth, and in a limited quantity. The caramelised malts and its 11% Alc Vol give this beer the warm roundness of wine together with the refreshing taste of beer.
Brewery Het Anker
Brewery Het Anker is one of the oldest breweries of Belgium. Located in the former hospital of Mechelen where the nuns brewed beer since 1471, Het Anker is now owned by the fifth generation of the family who bought it in 1872.
