De Ryck

Brewery De Ryck was founded in 1886 by Gustave De Ryck as Brewery ’ De Gouden Arend’ , the name was chosen as a tribute to his teacher of ‘ Brauerei zum goldenen Adler ’ in Bremen, where he did his traineeship.

More than 130 years later, the brewery has evolved from a keg only brewery producing one type of beer (spéciale Belge) and mainly selling locally to an ambitious family run brewery that produces 6 delicious beers;  all of them brewed and served with passion and respect for the tradition.

Today, the brewery is led by Anne De Ryck- fourth generation and first female brewering engineer of Belgium- who’s convinced and dedicated to produce superior beer both in quality and in taste.
